The essentials
Made to be viewed. Not taken.
The portfolio is open for inspiration, evaluation and professional enquiries. The photographs remain authored work and may not be copied, republished, sold or used without written permission.
01
Browse responsibly
Use this website lawfully and without interfering with its security, operation or other visitors.
02
Respect creative rights
Sharing a page link is welcome. Reproducing the underlying photography requires permission and an appropriate licence.
03
Enquiries are not bookings
A project becomes confirmed only through a separate written quotation or photography agreement.
Copyright and licensing
Photography remains authored work.
What viewing permits
You may browse the website, follow its internal links and share links to public pages. Technical copies made automatically by a browser for ordinary viewing are permitted.
What requires permission
Downloading, reproducing, altering, republishing, selling, licensing, scraping or otherwise exploiting photographs, text or page content requires prior written permission, except where mandatory law expressly allows otherwise.
Any agreed commercial, editorial, promotional or architectural use must follow a separate written licence defining the permitted media, territory, duration and purpose.
01 / Access and conduct
Using this website
Acceptance and scope
These Terms of Use govern access to stavrosmarmaras.com and its public portfolio, editorial pages, service information and enquiry forms. By using the website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the website.
Permitted use
Use the website only for lawful personal or professional evaluation. Do not attempt to gain unauthorised access, disrupt performance, introduce malicious code, circumvent security, impersonate another person, submit false enquiries or use automated systems in a way that burdens the website.
02 / Intellectual property
Creative work and ownership
Photographs, text and presentation
Unless expressly stated otherwise, the photographs, text, selections, sequences, branding and presentation on this website are owned by or licensed to Stavros Marmaras Photography and are protected by copyright and other intellectual-property laws.
No ownership or licence transfers to you merely because content is publicly visible.
Links, sharing and automated use
You may share the URL of a public page through ordinary social or professional channels. Do not present copied images as your own, remove credits or rights information, frame the website in a misleading way, or create image libraries, datasets or automated archives from its content without written authorisation.
03 / Professional enquiries
Enquiries and photography services
An enquiry is not a confirmed booking
Submitting a form or sending an email starts a conversation only. It does not reserve a date, create an obligation to accept an assignment or form a photography contract. A commission is confirmed only through a separate written quotation, proposal or agreement accepted by the relevant parties.
Separate project terms
Each assignment may have its own scope, access requirements, timetable, fees, deposit, expenses, cancellation provisions, delivery schedule, image licence, usage limits and responsibilities. If project-specific written terms conflict with these website terms, the project-specific agreement governs the assignment.
Material supplied by clients
If you send plans, reference images, logos, briefs or other material, you confirm that you are entitled to provide them for the intended discussion or project and that doing so does not unlawfully infringe another person’s rights.
04 / Information and services
Website information and third parties
Portfolio and service information
Project descriptions, locations, availability and service information are provided in good faith. Buildings, landscapes, businesses and other subjects may change after they were photographed. The website is not a technical record, property representation, valuation or guarantee of current conditions.
External links and platforms
Links to social networks, mapping services, publications or other external websites are provided for convenience. Those services are operated independently and apply their own terms, privacy notices and security practices. Their content or continued availability is not controlled by this website.
Availability and security
Reasonable care is taken to maintain the website, but uninterrupted or error-free availability is not promised. Access may be suspended for maintenance, security or circumstances beyond reasonable control.
05 / Responsibility
Legal responsibility
No professional reliance on website content
General information on this website is not legal, financial, architectural, engineering or other professional advice. Decisions about a property, campaign, licence or assignment should be based on the relevant professional documents and agreements.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Stavros Marmaras Photography is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising solely from use of, inability to use or reliance on this public website. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits mandatory consumer rights.
Changes to the website and terms
Content and these terms may be updated when services, technology or legal requirements change. The date at the top identifies the current version. Continued use after an update means the revised website terms apply from that point onward.
06 / Governing framework
Greek law and mandatory rights
Governing law and jurisdiction
These website terms are governed by the laws of Greece. Subject to mandatory rules that may apply, disputes concerning the website are submitted to the competent courts of Greece. If you are a consumer, nothing in this clause removes protections or jurisdiction rights that mandatory law grants you.
Severability and no waiver
If one provision is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply. A delay in enforcing a right does not waive that right.
Questions and permissions
Clear before we begin.
For image permissions, licensing requests or questions about these terms, contact Stavros Marmaras Photography at [email protected].
