Hospitality & commercial / Light, space and identity
Design, atmosphere and a sense of place
A hotel’s photographs need to help people understand both its spaces and the experience they offer. For a restaurant, workplace or other commercial setting, the images also need to communicate the character of the business.
I photograph hospitality and commercial properties across Greece, combining 25 years of professional experience with careful attention to light, materials, composition and perspective. Each commission is shaped around the property, its audience and how the photographs will be used.
01 / Hospitality and atmosphere
Hotels, resorts and the guest experience
A considered hotel image collection moves from the overall setting to the spaces and details that give the property its identity.
Depending on the brief, coverage can include architecture, guestrooms and suites, reception and shared spaces, restaurants and bars, pools, terraces and surrounding views. Wider compositions explain layout and proportion; closer photographs reveal materials, furnishings and the relationship between light and design.
Correct verticals and controlled perspective keep rooms believable. Balanced interior and exterior light helps explain important views, while daylight and twilight can show different aspects of the property.

02 / Commercial interiors
Restaurants, workspaces and commercial interiors
Commercial spaces need photographs that explain their design while remaining relevant to the business.
I pay attention to how people move through a space, where the eye settles and which details carry its identity. An overall view might establish the relationship between a dining area and bar; a closer composition might show joinery, lighting or the texture of a material.
The balance between these views depends on the intended use, whether that is a design portfolio, a business website, a campaign or an editorial feature.
Planning the assignment
Plan the photography around its use
The starting point is a clear brief: who needs the photographs, what they should communicate and where they will appear.
Priority spaces, image formats and intended uses help shape the coverage. Property readiness, styling, access and daylight influence the schedule. In operating hotels and businesses, guest or customer activity also needs to be considered.
A coordinated selection of wide views, details and alternative compositions makes the collection useful across different placements without unnecessary repetition. Deliverables, timing and usage rights are agreed for the commission.
If you are preparing an enquiry, my hotel and villa photography shot-list guide can help you identify the spaces and views that matter most.
