PROJECT STORY

A shared entrance, a precise rhythm.

The photographic challenge

The complex is organised around a central entrance, with projecting balconies and horizontal screens giving rhythm to the facades. The photographic sequence needs to make that overall arrangement legible while retaining the quieter details of the garden and covered terraces.

My approach

Frontal compositions describe the relationship between the buildings and the planted approach. Oblique views show the depth of the balconies, while closer frames isolate the glass balustrades, screening and recessed exterior lighting.

The garden terrace introduces a more domestic scale, with seating and ornamental planting beneath the building. Dusk and night views return to the central entrance, showing how the exterior lighting defines the approach and balcony edges.

The portrait photographs close the gallery with the tall entrance courtyard, a garden view and a facade detail, grouped together to preserve a consistent visual rhythm.

The result

Commissioned by Adonis Fountis for Fountis Architects, the collection documents a residential complex in Athens, Attica, Greece. The photographs focus on its exterior architecture, shared approach and outdoor spaces.
