Luxury Apartment — Interior Photography in Northern Athens

This luxury apartment in the northern suburbs of Athens features interior design by architect Adonis Fountis. The photographic series presents its connected living, dining and kitchen spaces alongside the entrance hall, where illuminated wall panels, an ornate mirror and a sculptural detail establish a distinctive first impression.

A contemporary residential interior

A restrained palette of pale upholstery, white surfaces and grey accents gives the living area a quiet, cohesive character. Patterned timber flooring adds warmth, while colourful artwork introduces a focal point above the sectional sofa. An arched floor lamp and a low, dark coffee table bring contrasting forms into the composition.

The adjoining dining area continues this balance of softness and structure. Upholstered chairs surround an oval table with a veined surface, with a green vase providing a concentrated accent of colour. Beyond it, illuminated shelves frame the fireplace and television wall. Sculptures and smaller objects give these displays their individual character, while the adjacent kitchen introduces darker cabinetry and reflective surfaces.

Light, materials and spatial connections

Integrated lighting is a recurring element throughout the apartment. Linear illumination traces the curtains, display shelves, kitchen cabinetry and entrance wall. The photographs describe how this light defines surfaces and connects the different areas, while keeping the furnishings and architectural lines clear.

The entrance hall offers a different expression of the same approach. Pale veined wall panels sit opposite a white console and an ornate silver-toned mirror. Lighting above and below the panels emphasises their length, while the mirror adds depth and a view back towards the living spaces. A frontal view presents this arrangement directly, with the corridor extending into the background.

I photographed the apartment through a combination of wider compositions and closer details. Views across the living and dining areas explain their relationship to the kitchen and entrance, while tighter frames focus on the lighting, decorative objects and surface treatments. Controlled perspective and consistent colour help the sequence communicate the design as a whole.
