PROJECT STORY
A coastal terrace, with the rooms behind it.
The photographic challenge
The sea-facing terraces are an important part of Liades End Villa's character. The photographic consideration is how to show their atmosphere while explaining the architecture and rooms behind them. Shade beneath pergolas, brighter coastal views and interior light create different layers within a frame. I look for compositions where those layers describe the space naturally and retain the texture of the stone.
My approach
The dining terrace introduces the villa through a place where the architecture and view meet. The roof and columns give the sea a frame, with the table providing a useful foreground. Other terrace photographs show the lounge seating and the relationship between the pergola, stone surfaces and horizon.
A closer sunset composition brings attention to the outdoor seating and prepared champagne setting. It offers a different scale from the wider terrace photograph, while remaining connected to the same outlook. I use this variation to give the collection room to breathe between the architectural views.
Inside, the open living room and timber kitchen continue the connection to the sea. The bedroom sitting area opens towards another terrace, making the transition between enclosed and outdoor space part of the composition. These views explain the property from within rather than showing every room as an isolated interior.
The evening photographs return to the stone entrance, covered terrace and pool. Warm illumination gives depth to the facade, while the pool and steps provide clear forms against the darker surroundings. The night terrace view also shows the living and dining room beyond, linking the exterior and interior in one photograph.
A top-down pool view and wider aerial photograph complete the account of the setting. They explain relationships that are less obvious at ground level, with the villa and coast visible together.
The result
For villa owners and managers, this range of photographs introduces both the property and the spaces in which its coastal setting is experienced. Liades End Villa is presented within the Peloponnese, Greece, through architectural, interior and aerial perspectives. I aim for a consistent visual story where clear spatial information sits alongside the warmth of the terraces and the atmosphere after sunset.
