How to Plan an Architectural Photography Brief

Plan an architectural photography brief around image goals, priority views, light, access, usage and delivery.

Build a hotel or villa photography shot list that connects arrival, rooms, amenities and twilight with the purpose of the images.

How foreground elements can frame a scene, create depth and guide attention without obscuring the subject.

A closer look at reflections, light and detail, and how they shape the way an interior is photographed.

Practical preparation for an architectural photoshoot, from clear surfaces and thoughtful styling to access and property readiness.

The cameras, lenses and supporting tools I use—and why observation, camera position and a clear purpose matter most.
